Today’s song is Ben&Ben’s “Masyado Pang Maaga”. This is a song which talks about a relationship and the difficulty of reaching out to one another. However, let’s look at its other side and associate it to our high school journey. We can relate the following lines of the song to some of our unforgettable high school moments.
To all of our failed exams and frustrations, “San, nagkamali, pwede bang bumawi?”
When we were bombarded with schoolworks, we wanted to say “Teka lang. Teka lang teka lang muna.”
Above all, the “masyado pang maaga” – the most painful part of the song.
Isn’t it too early to part ways?? Isn’t it to early to bid goodbyes?? Isn’t it too early to end this chapter of our lives??
Six years have gone by so fast but as they say, we never know how important a thing is until it’s gone; so as our high school life, we’ll never know how great it is without reaching its end.
It’s okay to say “masyado pang maaga” for we need to live our lives, move forward and grow separately. For now, we’ll focus on the present and cherish the last two remaining months.
